    Brian's prediction: Madeleine McCann.

    See: http://www.briansprediction.com/dd/5441.htm

This guy is claiming to have made a drawing predicting Madeleine's abduction before it happened.

Of course, he's made predictions before and been caught cheating. See: http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=74308

He also has some other predictions on that page (which I've saved) about Madeleine's return. That, of course, remains to be seen.

I suspect that this is just the same trick he used when lying about predicting the lottery numbers. i.e. posting the prediction after the event was known.

It's disgusting just how low these people will stoop to feed their own fantasy of having magical abilities.

I've worked out how to check his page.

It turns out that the first 2 images he placed on the page showing the date 3rd May 2007 were last modified on 15th May 2007.

They are the initial images that his prediction is supposedly based on. As he's been caught cheating in the past it does invite the question: why should we believe this to be genuine when the images containing the prediction were last uploaded to his server 12 days after Madeleine went missing?

Nothing on his page relating to this case dates to before 5th May 2007 - Madeleine went missing on 3rd May 2007.

This shows that his modus operandi hasn't changed since he was caught cheating with his lottery prediction - his predictions are made after the event.

There are lots of way a psychic can cheat in this manner.

Hell if I wanted i could make a post on my own site "predicting" almost anything, and pre date it quite easily.

It is harder to fake the date of any photos, as you have shown, but still there are ways.

In the age of the internet I would say it is virtually impossible to prove you genuinely made a prediction before the event, the only way would be for enough people to see the prediction BEFORE the event happened, if people only see it afterwards then it is worthless.

Yes, headers can be faked but it seems that Brian doesn't know how to do it. So we can keep tabs on him for now.

See Skeptic predicts lottery numbers for an example, and revelation, of how Brian's trick is done.
