I think it all works if you go via the link.

4% does not seem much on a single item but it does multiply.

The Amazon affiliate link is proving a decent source of income for UKS so thanks to all who use it.

We've got just about enough money in the kitty now to start making good use of it with some new projects.

There's now also an affiliate Amazon link in the navigation bar above (Amazon Store) which can also be used to search Amazon for books or other items.

It links to this page: http://www.ukskeptics.com/forum/amazon_store.php

This should make ordering from Amazon a bit more convenient for regular forum users.

It works in exactly the same as the other Amazon links - it adds no cost to purchases but UKS gets a ~4% commission on sales.

TIP: I've left the initial search results showing up from the USA and prices in dollars as the search results seem to be better that way. If you then click on an item for purchase, it will convert it to pounds and take you to Amazon UK.

It's very important that you click on the link John provided that automatically takes you into the Amazon site. Keep page open at all times during your visit to the Amazon site. Open new tabs for all your browsing, when you are ready to purchase online, close down all your tabs and UKS page, reopen it and start at the link provided that you started out with on UKS, thus taking you directly to where you wish to purchase and from there proceed to check out. I did it this long route to ensure that UKS would benefit from my online purchases through UKS link to Amazon. The last time I tried to purchase through UKS on Amazon in December, UKS was unable to receive the 4% commission. By going the long route we succeeded. Hope this info helps!

    Question Re: UK-Skeptics' Book Store.

Can I order books to the USA thru the uk skeptics page? Can I order anything amazon sells, or just the books listed on uk skeptics? I'm wanting to order books but would like UKS to get a commission if possible. Or if someone has a copy of bad science and (possibly a couple other books too) that they want to send to the USA, or someone is IN the USA, I can pay-pal it or mail a money order. Thanks!

Well I often order stuff from the American Amazon site for shipping here, it may get tagged for import duty though.

You can use this link for shopping for anything else you may want.
