An idea for a website section...

I was looking around yesterday at things that were happening and were reported last year. A lot of things get reported in the press and most of it never gets followed up.

So I'm thinking of doing a section called "12 months on..." or "Whatever happened to...?" and highlighting things that were reported and sensationalised in the press but which fell by the wayside.

Things like:

• Diane Lazarus and her 'helping' the Norfolk Police with psychic information on the Joanna Young murder. It was the big finale of the Britain's Psychic Challenge programme. We've heard nothing though....

• The Royal Bristol Homeopathic hospital study. They were supposed to be testing homeopathy on children with asthma. The results were due last September, then they were delayed until Novemeber, but we've still heard nothing. Why not?

Etc.

Psychics are their meddling would be a rich source too.

It wouldn't take too much work to do and would highlight the amount of bullshit we're fed by a credulous media.

I love this sort of thing - usually when it involves seeing what child actors are now up to, but it works for this as well!

Actually, I was recently talking to vbloke about doing an update to the Selfridges psychic story as it's been a year. Will post more on that idea when I get chance.

So, if anyone wants to write a short piece on some major headline etc. that has been conveniently forgotten feel free.

Or if you have any ideas just stick them in here and I'll get around to having a look.
