    Cosmic Ordering

Ever heard of it? what do you think of it?

It works on the principle that we have 'guardian angels' (which is really like your inner subconcious I actually thinK) and you only have to ask and thou shalt receive - within reason.
well actually it works on the principle that if you want something enough you can get it.

I was intrigued and am reading the book by Jonathon Cainer (an astrologist, NISM..)

I'm still trying to work out if really is about having 'guardian angels (yeah ok!) or if it's just a methaphorical way of talking about how your subconcious mind can help you reach your goals?

It's not so much through a guardian angel. They believe the universe itself is a sort of bank that you can draw upon, it's laws in the universe itself that fulfill your 'order' if you do it correctly.

Of course it's then your fault if you don't get what you wanted, you probably didn't do it properly or stay 'positive' enough.

It's a cosmic lottery. All it's doing is playing the numbers game - out of all the people in the world, there is a very high chance that positive things will happen to some people and that's what it's banking on - common chance.

Plus, if someone wants something (new job, pay rise, better car, holiday, etc) and this book tells you to start "wishing" for it, then you're more likely to have it in your mind and do something about it.

Also check out 'The Secret'. This is cosmic ordering wrapped up in nice packaging and available to for only $x + local shipping. You also get $40,000 worth of free reports (etc.)

It's essentially a video by some marketing ghouls that attempts to blind the masses by saying that it's all to do with quantum mechanics. This is enough to persuade many people that it's the best thing since Mars became Snickers. It's the same crap though and people believe it because a) it's a slick presentation and b) they're desperate and c) they're terminally stupid.

Marathons becoming Snickers was clinically wrong anyway.
