I've been a customer of the Argos Additions catalogue for years - not any more.
This morning I opened my statement from Argos Additions and found that one of the advertising leaflets enclosed with it was for Star Temple, which claims to be "the UK's Most Respected Psychic Network". It even offers £5 off your next reading for new customers!
The leaflet gives brief details of three Star Temple psychics:
"Rachelle...has been aware of the spirit world from a young age and...establishes an uncanny link through your voice for an amazing and uplifting reading." Yes, there's nothing more uplifting than being ripped off by a cold reader.
"Alison's name in the world of Spirit is "Earth Angel." I stopped reading after that. (John, we need a vomiting smiley for these occasions.)
"Demian has been a professional psychic, clairvoyant, clairaudient, and medium for twenty years...and has worked in television." Wow, he's worked in television! He MUST be genuine!

"The Best or 100% Free*
*Money back guarantee relates only to first 5 minutes of any credit card call"
What's the betting that for the first five minutes the "psychics" are careful to limit themselves to the usual one-size-fits-all comments, then make riskier guesses in the knowledge that disgruntled punters can't get their money back?
I've e-mailed Argos Additions about this and asked them not to send me any more catalogues.
On their website there is a newsfeed. I was a bit disappointed to see that it wasn't predicted news!
