Have you come across these?
They're being promoted as having health benefits with the tag line "One of Oprah's favourite things"! :o
What do people think?

Personally, that sounds like it has more bollocks in it than your average post club 3am hotdog.
I think I will email them and ask for...
THE EVIDENCE!
And then we shall see what we shall see.
The other issue with the watches is that they are pimped to hell. Ugh.
I believe. :D
At only several hundred pounds each, I wear one on each wrist to double the effect.
They look like nice pieces of jewellery. It's a shame that they have to resort to false claims to sell the pieces to gullible punters.
They have an outlet in the Metro Centre, Gateshead. I might pop in and ask a few questions when we go there Xmas shopping.![]()

I should mention that I have a Philip Stein Teslar bracelet. A couple who are my close friends (doctors) recommended that I try the Teslar technology, so I purchased this from Goldsmiths with a 30-day money-back guarantee, to judge for myself. I certainly don't consider myself gullible, quite the opposite in fact. However, after weraing this bracelet for 6 months, I can honestly say that IT IS AMAZING. I am just a normal bloke. I work in a very high-pressure environment within a Chidren's hospice and the change since wearing the bracelet has been that I am now dramatically calmer and feel less stressful. I wake up in the morning without feeling anywhere near as tired as I used to, especially when I've only had maybe 4 or 5 hours sleep. And lastly I feel much more energetic in myself overall and have more of a buzz and seem to be able to accomplish so much more in a day than ever before. I tried leaving the bracelet off for two weeks when I went away on holiday recently and found that I felt like I felt before wearing it! These things are not cheap, but for me it is one of the best things that I have ever bought in my 50 years!! So as much as I can understand how some people would be sceptical, I would say that to trash the concept by insinuating that it is no more than psuedo-scientific marketing without really trying to understand what is being offered is foolish. I can HONESTLY say that wearing the Philip Stein Teslar bracelet has dramatically changed my life for the better. How many people can say that?
http://www.fda.gov/consumer/updates/...708.html#fraud
All consumers seeking information about any health product or medical treatment should be familiar with the following signs of health fraud:
...
Undocumented case histories or personal testimonials by consumers or doctors claiming amazing results.
So how much did you pay for your magic bracelet then David?
Have you ever been described as a hypochondriac by your doctors or people around you?
It's just that I have a theory that these useless products do work on some people - those who believe they have things wrong with them when they don't.
.
A quick Google search reveals that there are websites that sell fake "teslar" watches.
Perhaps a placebo-controlled trial could be arranged.
It's a typical spammer formula..
I was sceptical..
Qualified friend recommended improbable device\therapy
I had "nothing to lose" so brought into it
The effects were amazing!!
All of the perceived "effects" are purely subjective and most could also be gained by a couple of extra hours sleeping and a bit more fibre in the diet
