Actually, Harryprice might actually describe that as a ghost...
The atmosphere of that film convinced me. I have had actually seen a ghost myself and that was something of an experience.
In a pub, there are many ghosts because when someone is full of drink in a pub in the olden days, they must of tripped up somewhere and died as a result.
Pub Ghosts are a lucky omen in many parts of Europe so treat them like Elders please.
I have just a few questions...
How many ghosts have you met who died as a result of tripping up after one too many flagons of ale?
Why are all the ghosts from the 'olden days'? Have you met any teenage asbo-spooks who tripped up after downing cheap alco-pops?
Do you have to trip over whilst drunk, or will any other forms of death guarantee access to the eternal realms of the undead? What about a pub-fight or liver failure? What if your pub got bombed in the war?
Have you ever met a pub-ghost you had difficulty respecting? How do they compare to toilet-ghosts and garden-shed-ghosts?
Who writes the rules for the undead? Can I apply for a handbook like in Beetlejuice? Or do I need a Catholic manual and a bible like in The Exorcist?
From what you are saying it sounds like these are comedy 'head-under-the-arm' stereotypes, so I'm guessing you just walk about and groan whilst jangling some chains.
But obviously you wouldn't wear a sheet over your head - That would just be stupid.
Please tell all - I would love to know.
Who ever sits and watch's their security videos unless something happens like a break in?? No one...
Polomint is right. There are a lot of reasons for checking security videos. Having been in the shop/bar trade I've spent many hours trawling through video to pinpoint incidents. Mostly of staff gross misconduct. Saddest was the time I was lured back ( more money) to a former place of employment with the specific task of tackling a security issue. After setting a trap I was able to use security video to confirm that a member of staff who was a personal friend and long-standing colleague was thieving. His disciplinary hearing was one of the worst things I ever had to be part of.
