Been chatting to Matthew Smith (ex mosthaunted sceptic) regarding his book and million dollar challenge.
He's looking for input so if you use facebook, you might want to pop in and leave your thoughts. Can a skeptic become a psychic... and win a million dollars?
Dr Matthew Smith is a psychologist who is skeptical about psychic phenomena. He becomes his own test subject as he attempts to develop his own psychic ability!

I'll leave my thoughts here...
I can't see the point in doing this. It has no scientific purpose or validity whatsoever.
However, as a money making scheme it has merit.
I suspect that he'll pander to believers with stories of how he might just be psychic after all (believers being the obvious target audience) but if he ever manages to apply and be accepted for the million dollar challenge (good publicity there) then he'll fail it.
Belief sells, skepticism doesn't - so I'm not anticipating a book worth reading from a skeptics' point of view.
