    World Cup aftermath

    1. I've got a hangover - good party here last night
    2. I still don't enjoy football that much
    3. In addition to goal line video technology of some sort - they should introduce sin-bins although there wouldn't have been many on the pitch at some points last night.

    1. No hangover. I'm sensible and know my limits!
    2. I enjoyed the Kung Fu kick most in last nights game.
    3. I'd be in favor of post match video technology to root out diving and play acting. At the end of each season the worst offender for diving should be tarred and feathered.
    4. Referee's should have microphone's like in rugby.
    5. Referee's to be equipped with guns and told to shoot any player that cannot shut up and get on with the game when he dislikes a decision.

Did anyone else here, among those who have discovered the innocent pleasures of Aardman Animations' Shaun the Sheep series, notice the startling resemblance in appearance (except for the hair) and attitude between the farmer and Fabio Capello?

A certain similarity I suppose, don't know about the attitude though - never seen it.

They both stomp around grumpily, waving their arms in irritation with their mouths permanently turned down. I was irresistibly reminded of the farmer every time I saw Capello displaying his displeasure in the dugout.
