Well at least it's factual - but still no excuse. On one nutty website I saw an analysis of the situation that stated that the hole is so large it could never be fixed, short of using a nuclear weapon. And so, as these websites always say, we're doomed.

I'll have to see if this forum already has a section with these websites and opinions, which I'm encountering more and more often. Every little setback is immediately the end of society as we know it, so stock up on the guns and booze.
