Default Pauline Hanson; our gift to you.

It was whilst jotting down a response to the thread about Fiona Phillips that our dear Pauline Hanson sprang to mind and made my day---

I'm so thrilled to tell you this that I could just shit!

Pauline is immigrating to the UK as she is sick of eating worms here.

    Who is Pauline Hanson?

A former Fish'n' Chip shop proprietor, failed politician, and leader of the defunct 'One Nation' party. Racist and anti immigration, I think our Pauline would get along spiffingly with your Enoch Powell. (she wouldn't notice that he's dead)

    No need to thank us.

Pauline Lee Hanson (nee Seccombe; born 27 May 1954[1]) is an Australian politician and former leader of Pauline Hanson's One Nation, a political party with a populist and anti-immigration platform. In 2006, she was named by The Bulletin as one of the 100 most influential Australians of all time.[2]

Read all about this wonderful news. WARNING: There's a photo of her. She's a little unfortunate looking. I think some one hit the poor thing in the face with a shovel when she was little. Holy Elmer knows I've wanted to often enough.

    This does not look promising

On 15 February 2010, Hanson announced that she planned to deregister Pauline's United Australia Party, sell her Queensland house and move to the United Kingdom.[49][50][51][52] The announcement was warmly welcomed by Nick Griffin, leader of the far-right British National Party (BNP).[53]
On the other hand she is a crim

On 20 August 2003, in a separate and this time criminal case, a jury in the District Court of Queensland convicted Hanson and Ettridge of electoral fraud. Both of them were sentenced to three years imprisonment for falsely claiming that 500 members of the 'Pauline Hanson Support Movement' were members of the political organisation 'Pauline Hanson's One Nation'
That means we can deport her to ... um ...

She seems to be blissfully unaware that the UK is far more multi-cultural than Oz.

She won't be made welcome. I doubt that she'll stay long even if she does move here.

Fortunately for Australia that is not the case.

Pauline's conviction was quashed and she was released without conviction. I think she served less than 3 months. Apparently most of the people Pauline met in prison were also innocent.

Her arrest and conviction were a tacky miscarriage of justice, orchestrated by the establishment, which she terrified.

She was dangerous because she was committed, stunningly ignorant and ineffably stupid. One nation had a simplistic and simple minded popularism which appealed to 'a lot of people', at least for a while.

A lot of people are fuckin' stupid (George Carlin)
