Have you at least got a copy of the information Yahoo sent to your accuser/their lawyers?

No - i am still waiting for Yahoo UK to respond in writing to me. However what I have put is what their legal person told me over the telephone.

But I believe it to be:

    1. My name
    2. My e-mail address
    3. My Home address (which was incorrect)
    4. My telephone number (which was incorrect)
    5. 12 months history of my IP Log in addresses - although that was nov 2008 and nov 2009. The message in question was sent in February 2008. What the IP addresses will have revealed (although not seen it yet) was multiple IP logins from public and foreign computers do teh nature of my job.

    Why?

Clutching at straws really. Would be hoping that it might reveal something useful to you but I'm sorry to say I have no preconcieved idea of what that could be.

IANAL: But if you've asked your accuser's lawyers for this and they've witheld it then this might be grounds for a mistrial further down the line. You have a right to a fair hearing and this involves being able to see the evidence against you.

Yes i did ask them what information Yahoo UK revealed to them and this was there reponse (word for word).

    "P.S.
What communiucations with Yahoo that I or my lawyers have had, do you consider are further relevant to the current situation? All the communications and Court proceedings were with a view to ascertain the identity of "xxxx", which is yourself."

However the reason I wanted to know was to find out whether Yahoo provided them with my IP address, as this will have enabled me to prove the message was not sent by me.

What Yahoo UK did reveal to me today is that they did provide the claimants with my IP address history, but that was for a 12 month period not including when the message was sent. They did not tell me that Yahoo UK were unable to provide the relevant IP address.

Still looking for help - where are all the lawyers????

Contact me offline ASAP if you are still in the middle of this. We have a similar case and can show that Yahoo's records are not credible over time. Fillout the form on our website, in notes section type: Attn: Michael and paste this forum page therein also,
