It could be authenticated by getting the age of the map verified, examining its provenance and looking into the geological likelihood of gold being present in the area indicated.
This risk, which would be adopted by the buyer, could then be accounted for in the price. It's like selling shares in a company - they could go up sharply in future (if it is taken over, for instance) or they could become worthless (if the company goes bust). You can research the company to see if either is likely but ultimately it is still a risk - stuff happens. I think adventurous people prepared to take a punt like this one fully understand risk.
If I came into possession of such a map I certainly would not be in any position to exploit it directly so I would probably sell it to someone who could, making them fully aware of all the iinformation I had about it.
Possibly, though if I was going to fake a map, I'd probably choose an area where gold was geologically feasible, and maybe use old paper if I suspected someone was likely to be able to tell the difference.
I'd also wonder what kind of provenance would be credible, since if anything, a rather vague story 'just found in some strange old guy's papers after he died', might be rather more believable than some long line of owners who for some strange reason failed to exploit it, but the vague story might also be hard to check up on.
Actually he first called himself a Nuclear Physicist here: "

later he seems have become more modest. As I sadly admit have read his nonsense
book I have to doubt even that he's any kind of an engineer. He has such childish claims in his book.
Probably he has just read too much about things which are far above his head.
Now he tries to make money of it. It does not seem to bother him how much ever he must lie for this.
His latest trick seems to be the "Nele" case. I think it's all bogus too.
Seem to be a few people joining just in order to post on this thread.
I'm not actually sure why, since there's already a pretty solid consensus that Keshe is extraordinarily unlikely to have accomplished or invented anything, and pretty solid agreement that he is knowingly trying to con other people, or has managed to delude himself into thinking he's a genius, with opinion probably leaning more towards the scam-artist option.

OMG. I have just tried to read his 'paper' but only got to page 3 before coming down with a serious case of the vomiting stupids.
