Not sure where the best place to post this is, maybe a Mod can move it to the relevant place?
Okay, this Saturday (12th December) at 12 noon a collection of Anti-Vaxers will be marching from St Giles cathedral in Edinburgh to the Parliament to protest mandatory Swine Flu Vaccines. Despite the fact that Mandatory Vaccines are not on the cards, this is simply a misleading march.
Their website is full of debunked nonsense and is very worrying. we will be there to ask them some hard questions, but anyone else around please come along. You can find out where we ill be by emailing us at edskeptics@gmail.com
We need to make sure the correct information is out there and not these anti-vax nutjobs.
We have two blog posts on the subject, included several others who have picked up the story so feel free to spread it around:

The main issue this saturday is about mandatory Swine Flu jabs, but looking at their site and knowing several anti-vax arguments it is certainly just the tip of the iceberg.

I would edit to change my spelling mistakes, but there are so many it would be better to re-write!
Alex, if there's an answer at all, why on earth are they protesting something that isn't even on the cards?
Judging by the miserable size of their London protest, doesn't look like they have too much support.
Are these nutters best ignored, with energy directed toward education rather than giving oxygen to the fringe?
Yes, suppose so, but you can't help but feel this is completely orchestrated. The irony of people being manipulated into protesting against manipulation ...![]()
Smells like you have a conspiracy theory on the go there...
If there was an unsuccessful London demo (I don't remember hearing about it) then it is just a small group of loonies trying to orchestrate a national campaign. Happens all the time, marches for and against things every weekend in London. Many of them organised by various different Muslim groups often with very different agendas to each other. They rarely get more than a few hundred attendees. There was certainly one a few years ago demanding that the Govt revealed the truth about UFOs. There have probably been other UFO demos since that I didn't know about. There's probably been one recently about Homeopathy and the Parliamentary Committee that we didn't hear about.
Any loony subject with more than one website has probably also had a march or two.
