I think that she is such a non-celeb and would not be worth mentioning but for the influence she has through the media.
I suggest that just about everything in her life is fabricated and sensationalized for media attention (no surprises there) but she mentioned last week in the Sun she is going to get checked out for cancer due to stress.
cancer - Her next publicity stunt?
Suicide (failed), rape, cancer, bullying, all pretty standard tactics if you want to get in the papers.
The people doing the PR for these celebs are the ones making the money without having to live with the long term consequences of selling your entire life for money.
To show how much I am interested, until I looked it up, I thought Jordan was a country.
I get the feeling that after Jade Goody, they need another celeb to have Cervical cancer to scare our teenage daughters into have the cervical cancer 'vaccine'.
No one cares about all the nonsense she comes up with but when she is in a position to influence many over their health choices, it becomes important.
That's the one I still think of.

"Jordan now works as a vetinary nurse and breeds Burmese cats."
And now... a joke (of sorts):
38p for twenty-four Jaffa Cakes? That's Asda Price!
Selling pathetic sex stories to the Murdoch Press? That's Katie Price!
There IS something of interest to Jordan - why are so many people interested in her? It has a lot to do with the fact that she is on TV a lot, I think. Celebrity is an important factor in current society, whether we like it or not.
I was watching a 'religious person' trying to convert people the other day. What was interesting was that he had a poster about Dawkins! The profile of atheism has undeniably been raised by Dawkins and some of that is a celebrity effect. If the book had been written by Joe Bloggs, would anyone have even published it, far less read it?
Sculptex, what have you got against the cervical cancer vaccine?
Well, it won't let me make a comment on Rebecca Hardy's moronic article about Pengelly. I signed in as a new user but never received the e-mail allowing me to post my comment.

well spotted guys I am a conspiracy theorist :)
actually I am a concerned parent whose 15 year old daughter is being pressured into taking a vaccine that I am not confident in.
about the HPV vaccine - how can a 5 year triial be suitable testbed for something that may typically appear in over 20 years time? there is no evidence of its efficacy. There are many concerns about its safety, and I prefer to do things naturally anyway and vaccines are not natural. They should be teaching children to eat balanced diets - that would do so much more for the health of our children than pumping them full of drugs.
about Katie price - I just wanted to predict it before it happened.
And a balanced diet is going to protect against HPV how exactly?
There is a lot of evidence in support of the vaccine. A mild reaction to the vaccine is not unheard of, but there is no good evidence to support the more severe reactions being attributed to it. There is however a mechanism for reporting adverse reactions and I would presume this is in practice.
Bottom line, there is far, far more risk from HPV than from the vaccine. Even with safe sex she may become infected (condoms split, a faithful partner strays). Even with regular smear tests she may require treatment. Why deny her a level of protection that wasn't available to us at her age just because the media tells you?
Do you really believe the Daily Mail over eminent scientists? Why?
No evidence of efficacy? Safety concerns? Balanced diet better than drugs. Where do you get this bullshit? For the facts on the HPV vaccine see:
http://www.immunisation.nhs.uk/files...acy&safety.pdf
HPV vaccination is very safe and will undoubtedly save many lives. Cervical cancer kills quickly and very efficiently - I've seen it in action, 3 days from diagnosis to death! The bottom line for me is simply this: if you care for your daughter you'll get her vaccinated.
In my humble opinion all childhood vaccinations should be compulsory and idiot parents who refuse should be locked up - they are risking their kids' well-being and, indeed, their lives.
My only grumble with the current HPV vaccination program is that is is not being offered to boys.
