How works a newspaper?
....perhaps the wrong smilie! EEEEK!
.....(waits for Imox to ask about smeg)
I'm sure Imox will be aware of the origins..http://www.discount-buyers-club.co.uk/smeg.htmlSmeg stands for Smalterie Metallurgiche Emiliane Guastalla – metal enamelling factory in Guastalla, Reggio Emilia, and from an early stage, Smeg's high-quality and stylish enamelled fridges became very popular.

Smeg... I did not know that word was used outside Red Dwarf!![]()
I've got one of their cookers. From a choice of various similar specs and prices, I just had to get it because of the name! Odd, though, that an enamelling company should specialise in appliances made out of stainless steel with almost no enamel to be seen.
One of the Wallace & Gromit films shows a fridge in W&G's kitchen with the name SMUG ...
what are you talking about?
Smeg!
Well done Imox!
have a little treat on me:
