So don't allude to it if you can't or won't support it with facts. Saying that you "know things about him that would turn your hair blue" is an unsubstantiated claim, too vague to be defended against, but which nevertheless smears the person you are talking about. Don't do it if you can't back it up.
When you look at the psychology behind the man, and it is there for all to see in his "slick" pages ! he thinks at least half the world hates him but in all his testimonies, everyone mentions what a great chap he is, how kind he is, how funny he is, just like all his courses where they have so much fun and find him so amusing !
Wise up you converts and look a little deeper ! Anyone who is so loved and adored has no need of arrogance or superiority or the constant need to be told.
Or to constantly have to mention that superior fellow humans such as Doctors, Scientists and Vets have bowed to his superiority powers and knowledge. Take a look at a few points below which can be verified !!!!!!
Quote"Alongside this passion was his love of archaeology and he worked for two years on the excavation of Dudley Castle in the West Midlands."
\
Hmm! since when did wheeling wheel barrows for real Archaeologists, whilst employed by ManPower Services qualify anyone for a degree ?, when exactly did he get this degree ? I understand Dudley Castle came shortly after a second failure to pass his Biology "A" level. So no straight from 6th form to Uni there !
Quote"I graduated from Birmingham University. I was also a full-time cyclist for two years."
Don't know how he fitted it all in with over 20 years healing, (according to one of his dodgy testimonies) a short (very short) career in the police force and then there was the time hespent working at public transport and planning when he claims Quote" I lived in France from March 1988 to September 1989. I lived in the Bordeaux area, and spent some time in Tours, too. I was riding my bicycle, and racing for a French team. I wanted to become a professional, and win the Tour de France!" how strange, his family friends and fellow work colleagues and cyclists have a very different story about where he was and what was happening in his life at that time ! his first child was born in April 1988 ? NOT IN FRANCE ! not the sort of thing you conveniently forget or lie about is it ?
Pants well and truly on fire I think and not for the first time !
If Adrian Pengelly tells you it is raining outside, go out there and get drenched before believing him !
No anyone can buy one on ebay and for a couple of hundred quid you can get some very fancy paperwork to go with it, which is nothing more than fancy paperwork but why bother when you can change your name by depoll to anything you like for next to nothing ! being Sir Whatever courtesy of ebay or depoll is worth nothing more than being "Landlord of the Dog and Duck" apart from the Landlord of the Dog and Duck really is who he claims to be ! unless you have appeared in the honours or are the very direct descendent of a Baron, the Title Sir can not be bestowed. The clue there is DIRECT descendent ! not Sir Thomas Pengelly Baron of the exchequer who died in 1730 who Mr Pengelly claims to have got his title from, as that would make Mr Pengelly at least 279 years old.
I thought knights had to be explicitly knighted by Queen Liz. I don't think you automatically inherit a knighthood from an aristocratic family. Of course, lots of aristos get knighted for no apparent reason other than their aristocracy, but that's a different matter. My point is that if he is "Sir Adrian" in the real sense, he must surely have been officially knighted at some point, so surely that must be on record somewhere.
The point is he was never knighted, so there is no record, if you do an extensive google you will find a cyclists forum where Mr P boasts about how he got his "impossible" title where foolish people refer to him as their very own "knight of the realm" he actually claims to have been given this title which formerly belonged to Baron Pengelly ! Oh Yeah ! 279 years after the guy snuffed it ! There was once a very informative website belonging to Richard the Earl of Bradford called "Fake Titles .com" think it vanished as Richard himself, according to some, was up to shadey stuff lol ! but he really was the Earl of Bradford and very informative about such issues.
I thought if you have no direct descendant, then the title moves to nearest relative (first cousins etc.)Bourkes Peerage ! wont find im in there though ! nor any descendents of Baron Pengelly, he had none !
Also Sir Tangle of Blossom could you please use the quote facility, (highlight the text you want to quote and press the "speech bubble" icon), I am waiting for new glasses and realise more than ever that yellow text on white background is not very readable.
Yours Skeptically,
Sir Polo of Mint

Sorry Sir Polo of Mint, It was copied and pasted from his own work.

Not Knighthoods, the title "Sir" is only given by her Madge for the life of the title holder. Except !
A Baron t(he lowest rank in true peerage) can hand the title of "Sir" to a direct descendant with their Baronial lands. The title then dies. Unlikely they hunted down Mr P to bestow a title on him 279 years later, as one would also assume Mr P has a father and Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Great Great Grandfather named Pengelly ?
I was not suggesting that he was telling the truth. He is obviously a chancer and BS'er
There seems to be a lot of contradictory information on the internet about what constitutes a baron and who can or can't inherit the title. Direct Descendant does not necessarily mean your own children.
Hang on. Are we quite sure that the (Sir) Adrian Pengelly who posted on this forum:
http://www.timetriallingforum.co.uk/...er&f=2&t=20003
...is the same person as Adrian Pengelly, International Healer? The Pengelly who contributed to that forum is a member of a leading cycle racing team, VC St Raphael.
Its strange how half the people are supportive of not saying too much, and the other half are pressuring for more information, if youre THAT desparate for it, seek it out via search engines! You cant SERIOUSLY want that much information that you would waste your time responding to someone who has stated from the start that they shall not be divulging any positive or negative information.
Anyone could make a similar claim, a friend, a previous customer of his, a neighbour, a school chum, someone deeply interested in his work, someone who agrees with him, someone who does not agree with him, someone who has attended one of those classes he does. Anyone.
I can indeed, back it up, I just don't want to on an online forum to strangers.
