Adrian Pengelly: Astonishing claims
I know of an energy healer, who claims to do miraculous things, his website says he can heal cancer ! I thought this was breaking the law under the 1927 cancer act. Can anyone confirm this ?

Not sure you have the year right, but if in the UK it is against the law to claim to treat cancer unless you are a qualified doctor.Originally Posted by Tangleblossom

Its Adrian Pengelly ]he seems to have an arrogance about vets too ! as it is illegal to treat an animal without a vet referal and also to for a layman to make a diagnosis

Is it also illegal to treat children or advertise to treat them without stating or showing you have higher CRB clearance, a proper qualification and insurance etc ?
I also noted that he states that continuing with conventional treatment may slow down the process of his own method ! how dodgy is that ?

I see the testimonials claim he can cure memory loss too ! I find the testimonials very strange no one has actually allowed their names to be used, especially all the doctors and vets that rave about him ! Odd they all seem to be written in the same vien too !
I have alerted Herefordshire and Worcestershire Trading Standards to Mr Pengelly's claims. Thanks for bringing him to our attention, Tangleblossom, and I'll keep you all informed about this matter!
I expect that he has already been warned about the interest here and will be interesting to see if he is able to make rapid changes to the site.
Have to say his site is quite slick. Seems to keep claiming that he does not charge so wonder where the money making bit comes in. Donations? Workshops? The Process page is quite an amazing collection of bs headlined as the 'science' of healing.

Says he is up for testing! I vote for seeing if he can survive a nuclear reaction using his powers of dna and molecular manipulation.
Might be the John of God model where physchic surgery is free but the heebs he prescribes are available afterwards for a price.
Also I noted that he doesn't say he works for free, jsut that he didn't charge "for most of his career" What if he charges a modest fee now and the period during which he didn't charge isn't verifiable?
I know of this man and he charges something like £50 for about 20 minutes work. As for claiming to cure cancer and placing his hands on vulnerable children???????? Slick site or sick site? Hope you stop him UK skeptics!!!
Them heebs can be mighty expensive. Do they cure the heebie jeebies?
