I wonder who exactly the legal complaint is from. I cant see anything which particulalry stands out as being libelous
The article seems somewhat reminiscent of this thread

A recent NewScientist story "How to spot a hidden religious agenda" has been pulled as a result of a legal complaint:

Yes, I've just re-read it, it all seems quite tame. The only person it can be is 'James Le Fanu' who has written for the Telegraph, New Statesman, etc, and doesn't label himself as a creationist or religious extremist. He is however, at the very least, an idiot who writes utter rubbish (http://www.jameslefanu.com/articles/...each-evolution). His book: 'Why Us?: How Science Rediscovered the Mystery of Ourselves' is quoted from in the article and hasn't been published in the UK yet.
From the wikileaks site:
Sometimes I wish the law was about justice.UK libel law can bankrupt publishers with legal fees even if the case never reaches a conclusion.
Be skeptical of the things you believe are false, but be very skeptical of the things you believe are true.
