    Robert Cracknell - psychic detective (Rtd)

    Here's a couple of scans from the Psychic Times.

    Retired psychic Robert Cracknell saw fit to stick his oar in with the Sally Anne Bowman murder case; specifically with regard to the claims of psychic Ben Murphy who managed to come up with precisely nothing.

    Robert seems to feel insulted that the police do not take psychic detectives seriously. Well after Ben Murphy and Joe Power's input on this case we know why don't we?

    Cracknell has a website which lists the cases he's 'helped' in: http://www.robertcracknell.com/majorcases.htm

    Now, I must admit that I have never heard of this guy. Has anyone else looked into this gifted individual who's so cruelly dismissed as a crackpot by the police?

    Robert Cracknell has been around for decades and has always been very well thought of in spiritualist circles. He has his own website;

    http://www.robertcracknell.com/index.html

    ..and the homepage carries these words...

    Welcome to the site of Robert Cracknell, often hailed as "The UK's Number One Psychic Detective"...
    This website is essentially a show case revealing some of the work and psychic investigations that Robert Cracknell has been involved in over a 40 year period.

    Having helped the various police agencies solve numerous cases, from fraud, kidnappings, and murder, his greatest achievment was his involvement with one of the most feared individuals in UK history... "The Yorkshire Ripper"

    On a more practical level he ran a highly successful investigation and security agency, employing 30 employees, and his investigative cases often took him all over the world, and usually facing physical danger.

    He has always adhered to his own personal philosophy, and to a simple premise, which is that he is not 'gifted' or 'special'. He believes firmly that we all possess the pyschic faculty, and he is always prepared to help others to realise this. However, He does not indulge in what is known as private readings.

    On this site you can read the outlines of some of his more publicised investigations, and of course, you may also download Roberts popular books.

    Plus..We have just created the 'Psychic Forum', where Robert will personally moderate, and answer any questions, and post any new or essential news! Come and join in the fun!

    Oooh, a forum! Sounds like a direct invitation to me...

    I happen to work for the company that distributes his book Witnesses To The Unknown, if anyone wants a copy I can sell it to you at a discount... well, someone might like to take him to task over a case or two, such as the fact that he claims to have had a nice chat with Kurt Cobain - after his death, of course.

    Melanie.

    No it hasn't. I just clicked on the link and it works perfectly well. The website comes up with no problem at all.
