Well, I'll take some credit for keeping the average up. Noblesse oblige and all that jazz...

But I'm not so sure about this:

Steady on! In my experience, it's fairly difficult to get pure alcohol ( although there's poteen as well as Polish stuff calling itself Spiritus or some such).

Anyway, it ain't worth the trouble. A sensible chap will stick to the good stuff:
