Somebody just posted this rather suspicious-looking link on me!
Anybody heard of Dr. Dean Radin?
Yes
Heavily involved in universal consciousness stuff
See http://noosphere.princeton.edu/williams/GCP911.html
Uses random number generators for studying global effects I think
ASSAP did something similar I believe (see http://www.assap.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=469)
I've never really read Radin's work but his ideas seem to get a slating on places like CSICOP for example.
I think that Interesting Ian is very much into Radin's ideas.
From http://www.irva.org/papers/RadinCU.html:
That's the sort of thing that II comes out with. If someone says that something is impossible then they are a 'skeptic'.In science, the acceptance of new ideas follows a predictable, four-stage sequence. In Stage 1, skeptics confidently proclaim that the idea is impossible because it violates the Laws of Science. This stage can last from years to centuries, depending on how much the idea challenges conventional wisdom.
.
I have followed Radin's work for some time.
It is very poor. I can do no bette rthan this report here - see,
