It's probably related to the kid in the original post who suffered minor brain damage (not autism) as a result of a high fever, caused by vaccination, triggering some nasty stuff due to a pre-existing mitochondrial condition.

Check the link I put in post #3 for more detailed info

    Re: Vaccines and Autism

my child has autism but really dont think its down to vaccines.

when this vaccine thing first came out, i thought wait a minute, the MMR is around 1 years old, and she changed completely over night at about 1 years old. im a compulsive researcher looked for information for signs before 1 years old, at that time, the information was very hard to find because, the theory was, classic autism would not be diagnosed before 3 years old (incase they was a slow developer), and other types of autism at least 5 years old when they have spent some time in main stream school, because different mental disabilities, can have exactly the same charictoristics, but just 1 thing may seperate the right diagnosis, and they need the child to be in different situations to make a more informed decision. for example, my daughter presented as having adhd, she had all the signs in nursery, she wouldnt sit down for story time, register, or play with the other children, she wanted to play in the sand pit and thats exactly what she was going to do unless you wanted all out war on your hands, so they just let her. they waited till she was in full time school, to see if she if she would respond to the teachers then, when there was no sandpit and she had no choice but to do as she was told. after 3 months of trying, she still wouldnt do what she was supposed to do. so the paediatrician, came in to school and spent the day with her to see how she reacted, to other children, authority, how she played etc with other children around her, and how she reacted to 1 to 1 attention, and thats what clinched the move away from adhd, as adhd children theres no compramise, she had pathological demand avoidance (a form of autism), with which children behave positively with 1 to 1 attention. the paediatrician sent all the information to a the complex communications clinic (panel of doctors that diagnose complex cases) and she was diagnosed with, autism with particular aspects of demand avoidance (nottingham city will not diagnose PDA, as they believe its a form of autism, and the person that created the PDA diagnosis, thinks its a syndrome in itself)
anyways back to vaccines, due to not wanting to diagnose autism to early, they didnt like you to have information on infant signs of autism, because they thought it would make mothers concerned about their childs odd behaviour to soon, when it could just as easily be nothing other than late developing (its the same as PDA in teenagers, they dont want you to have information on that, because its scary, so you have to write off and pay for it, to deter you from getting it, its not even on the internet). i did find information on the internet on early signs of autism, and again it all fell into place, she couldnt care less for rattles, mobiles, or anything, but you just think well i guess they just dont like that sort of thing and dont make the connection to autism, because no one tells you it may be an issue and some children are like that. now when the child is around 1 years old, thats when suddenly other children are talking and walking and your child isnt, thats when concern arises, and it coinsides with the time after they have the MMR, it is coincidence.

i do believe mental disabilities are hereditary or caused by brain damage, since everyone i have met, have it either running in the family, or had horrific births or both. the few children that i have seen, that are similar to my daughter, all was bad births. i truely believe my daughter is like she is, because she was left to long trying to get out.

now the child in the article, it said the child got a fever and it caused brain damage, all children get fevers after vaccines and thus why you are told to give them calpol and watch their temperature. it wasnt said whether the child had anything to reduce the temperature, or whether the temperature got to high and was not reduced quick enough, as that can cause brain damage.

AntiVax or Vax that is the question see below.

I had my children vaccinated, it is sad to say that new parents have to vet other parents so that they can protect their children from other people’s ignorance.
