(Since there have been posts about Brian Ladd before I won't give a background on who he is and instead I'll just refer to other posts and to his website briansdreams for information)
I made the mistake of believing that Brian Ladd was genuinely concerned about missing children and spent a lot of time helping him. All the way from the start I felt something was a bit strange, but tried to keep an open mind both ways. I thought maybe some of the things he said he was dreaming wasn't more than regular dreams and that the guy and his readers were pretty naive to take in everything in the world as special "signs" and magic "leads" to something else. I thought he wasn't the smartest guy and that he took himself and his rambling (in drawings and text) a bit too serious.
Still I found bits and pieces interesting enough and followed..
I regret that now since I think it is completely obvious that he is a fake and phony and that he is consciously faking not only his predictions but also his personality. He is playing a role (the nice, modest, a bit stupid, and caring father and husband...) that obviously works well to get worried middle aged women all over the world to trust him and put time, energy and sometimes... sadly ... money into helping him.
He has now stopped doing his 'lottery picks' which have been discussed at UK skeptics before. I guess everything started closing in on him...
He still begs for money though ("please pay my bills, I'm so broke, they are going to close this site bla bla bla...") - "donations" - and at the same time says he doesn't get a penny for his work.. He says he gets very little money, but keeps asking for it so obviously he gets enough to be worth asking for and to be worth the bad impression it gives..
He has now collected the "cases" that he claims to be "confirmed" (sure...) in one same page. See "confirmed cases" at "missing people".
If you go through these you will see that every single case is done 1-2 days after the request which means he had a chance to post the case after he saw it in the news, since there is also a time delay from him drawing his "DDs" and "RVs" and actually uploading them - and since he is in the US and a lot of cases are in the UK - and -. most of all, cause there is nothing that proves that readers have written the things that are posted. Since he posts everything himself. This of course is also protecting readers that do post since he doesnt post email addresses. But he can actually post anything and say someone else wrote it... And he can say anything he wants about when things were written and posted.
In previous investigations from UK skeptics it was revealed that Brian "predicted"/posted lottery picks after they were drawn...
Brian also posts only emails that confirm his dreams or emails that - if they give critics - somehow have a nice twist in the end that either makes him the hero anyway - or that is so stupid that other readers immediately start to stand up for him.
Some emails are clearly written by himself but in other peoples names.
Most of his DDs and RVs are just plain nonsense. Like a triangle. Or some house that can be anywhere in the world.
And readers always find some "amazing" connection... Ba...
In the Madeleine McCann case he has by now posted about every number there is in the world, so if we ever find out the truth and some number comes up, Brian is gonna say he predicted it.
Once he "predicted" UFOs over Hawaii. He kept drawing certain UFO shapes and fragments of clues to when and where. Soon readers started to send him clips of a video with the exact UFOs in it! Wow, everyone was amazed. Until... it was revealed that the video was made by some hacker that had played around with a game / film editing program...
Hm... Brian predicts a ...fake... UFO. Very interesting.
During the time I have gotten to know this guy it has also become completely clear to me that he is a fake by the way he responds (and doesn't respond) to critics. It is very obvious he has everything to hide..
Anyway....what I am wondering: is there anyway to nail this guy??He is wasting soooo many people's time and the very serious thing is that he is using missing people, missing CHILDREN, and devastated parents, families, for his own disgusting pleasure.
I know that it is very hard since he always kept his back clear, saying things like "i'm not a psychic" and "i could be wrong of course, I am always wrong" (at the same time as he advertises his website like "the place where dreams really do come true" and "the most accurate psychic ever" and "more than 4000 dream drawing's (DD's) have been validated by dozens of major media outlets" and "MPRV SUCCESS RATE AS OF 10.10.07: [89%] " ....)
....but what he is doing is very alarming and should be stopped! Is it really ok to write and claim whatever you want on the Internet??!!
I know people here have done some investigating on Brian before. Do you know what more can be done and if it is actually possible to stop him from doing this?

Unfortunately from this country I think the answer is probably no. I think there will always be a stream of people willing to believe and no evidence will persuade them otherwise. Sites like this are useful because they appear in Google search results and will highlight he is a fake - but only to those people who are willing to listen.
He really is the scum of the earth, but he'll keep doing what he does because ultimately he can, and he has no conscience.
It would be great if someone went to the bother of a www.StopSylviaBrowne.com site for Ladd, that sort of thing does make a difference, but as I said above there are still many, many people who take conmen like Ladd at face value.

well i wasn´t joking! I do know Brian is writing alot of messages on his site with fake names, 1 of them is Annika from Norway...i have both names on my skypes buddies list ..they log in and out at the same time and have more proves about fake posters(readers) on his page!

Brian is an out and out conman. I don't think anyone would be surprised if he had fake posts on his site. His site is a pile of crap anyway.

Anyway, as much as I think you guys are totally hillarious, I really want to know what I asked about in my post. Is there no laws against what he is doing? Can we get him? What to do - where should one turn to report him.??

brianisafake is the fake here. He/she is writing 100 posts that make no sence so that the focus is moved from the subject.
As I said, you are really funny guys, but... not that funny. Is anyone serious in here anyway?? Well if you dont care about this useless bastard Brian Ladd that wants to earn money from people' misery, then I won't bother posting about it anymore.. just thought we could put our heads together and find out a way to stop him.
