Roll up, roll up...
I've got a nearly new DigiFusion FVRT100 to get rid of. I recently upgraded to bigger and better things TV-wise, so it's no longer needed. I've had it since January, so it's only a few months old.
It has stuff already recorded on it, but I can delete it, unless you want to keep the 2 episodes of Richard Dawkins "Root Of All Evil" that's on there.
I can either hand it over to some lucky punter at a Skeptics In The Pub meet, or nip down to the Post Office and stick it in the loving hands of the Royal Mail. The choice is yours...
Cost new: £120
To you: £50
Comes with: Scart cable, remote control, instruction booklet, power cable and guaranteed skeptical powers...
It needs a good home.
I'll have it. :D
Tell you what, if no one at the Skeptics in the pub wants it, then I'll take it.
I've currently got a DVD recorder, video recorder and separate digi box to do what that does. It's not flexible like that is though.
.
I feel the need to warn you that it can't transfer onto other things though.
Anything you record onto it stays on it (unless you open it up and remove the hard drive - advice from a forum I read about these things, but never tried).
Did you want the Dawkins stuff, or should I delete it?
How easy is it to delete then? ???
It sounds like a good set up. I have a separate DVD recorder that I can use to keep things I want and another one that transfers from tape to DVD and vice versa. So that's not a problem.
.
Dead easy - just go to the Library (button on the remote), highlight the program and hit delete.
Once you've recorded something, it automatically generates "scenes" for it (a bit like a DVD), so you can skip through bits quickly.
It does timeshifting, record and pause live TV and it even (if you set it up) automatically records what you're watching (for up to 30 mins) so you can rewind it "live" if you missed a good bit.
That's a bit far isn't it? ???Originally Posted by vbloke
It sounds fine to me.
So I'll nab it from you.

Splendid.
