Here's another bit of silliness.
http://www.exploratorium.edu/ronh/age/
BUT, can anyone work out when my next birthday is, and how old I will be, (Earth years) if I am 51599.1 Jovian days old.
I'd only be 25 on Mars, but the downside is there's very little atmosphere and it's always windy.![]()
silly as in pointless I think its meant to refer to. I mean how often does anyone need to calculate how old their martian alter ego would be?
Zero,
You are very, very close to age, but several months out on birthday. Still, pretty good. I wonder how you worked it out.
Janot,
Yes most of the site I thought was good, just as Bob says, do you really need to know how old you'd be on Venus or wherever? Still, I'm sure it attracts the curious, as it did me.![]()
OK. I tried again and the closest I could get was:
January and you'll be 58.
It's hard to be exact because Jupiter rotates at different speeds at different latitudes, so, I had to pick an "average" day which may differ to the day you used.
But then I cheated.
I think your birthday is within a couple of days of: December 24 1950

D'oh! I edited my post to change from '49 to '50.![]()
I got the approximate answer by converting the Jovian day figure you gave into hours and then just divided by 24, 365 etc. Like I said, there is no standard Jovian "day", so it is hard to be spot on.
How I cheated.
I did the previous inaccurate calculations before I even looked at the link you posted.
When I did look I realized all I had to do was keep entering dates until I got a figure that matched your Jovian age in the OP.I can't believe I mixed up the year. Choke.
I am 104 in Mercurian years.
