I shop at Selfridges. But...selectively. I wouldn't buy a jar of Helmann's mayo from there at twice the price of a supermarket. But I buy my clothes, furniture, electrical equipment, fancy kitchen implements etc from there. It's an awesome store. And the one in London (I'm in Birmingham) has the only concession for Eat My Handbag Bitch, which is the greatest seller of crazy kitsch knick-knacks.

You must be posh....my brother in law brought round a cake he bought in Waitrose in Edinburgh the other day......£7 for a cake!!!!

It was nice though....but my budget only stretches to Greggs 8)

The thing about Waitrose is, when stuff has reached its sell-by, they do great reductions.

I forgot to say, he was there at 8pm and the cake was reduced at that price

I think there is a reason why there are only one or two Waitrose in Scotland - the natives are too tight.
