This comes from a " medium" forum...
You're not working with science all the way, you're working with Logic. The main problem with that is your brain is as fallible and led by it's own agenda and beliefs as a believer's brain. A very good friend of mine once said that "Logic merely allows one to be wrong with authority"; and they're completely right. A lot of science and logic's fields are simply assumptions made by people who think they know the answer. The fun thing is, they may not.
someone posed that question to me in a believer forum, I think maybe were browsing the same sites mate![]()
Seems to me, the poster has little knowledge of how science actually worksThe main problem with that is your brain is as fallible and led by it's own agenda and beliefs as a believer's brain
Well, the strength of that argument has certainly won me overA very good friend of mine once said that "Logic merely allows one to be wrong with authority"; and they're completely right![]()
Assuming this to be just a minor lapse, and the quote was actually "Logic merely enables one to be wrong with authority", then that very good friend was none other than Dr Who.A very good friend of mine once said that "Logic merely allows one to be wrong with authority"

Make of that what you will.....![]()
Yes I did tell this person who was obviously a dr who fan that it was a dr who quote, of course this person I was debating with also has a guide called "the master". Im not making that up either.

they wouldn´t happen to have a dog called K9 too?![]()
I have no idea, it would be a likely candidate for a name though if he did indeed have a dog. He is a full on Dr Who bigtime fan.
Not big enough to get the quote right. Tsk, the fallible human brain, eh?
