This photo shows a woodpecker at the top of a tree, around 15m high. The puzzle is, where was the photographer when they took the photo?
Could be but wasn't!

Nope!
Sitting by a PC remotely operating a web-cam?
Nope. I'll give two clues
- it can be worked out using logic, so it is not a trick question or a joke
- the subject of the photo is significant
What type of woodpecker is it?
Great Spotted - trust me, that doesn't help!
Answer tomorrow, if no one gets it ...![]()
On a 15M high hill next to the tree?
.
It's not a puzzle? The photographer was in the tree?
I is thinking that when you said:
- the subject of the photo is significant
you don't mean the woodpecker, you mean the photo itself, which is a puzzle.
If the photo is taken at the same level as the bird, the photographer could be in a tree. So it will be a monkey puzzle tree.
Wood peckers are often found in and around monkey puzzle trees as well so this makes sence ornithilogicaly as well.
am i right?
nathan... just guessing really.
ok then, take the question mark of the end of the above statement and move the comma, and you get:
Grammar isn't perfect, but makes sense if it is a Monkey puzzle tree. This photo shows a woodpecker at the top of a tree, around 15m high. The puzzle is where was the photographer, when they took the photo
