Mmmmm
Since the last thread on "orbs" and having a Canon camera which are renown for "capturing" orbs - I have taken hundreds of photos in various "suitable" places trying to "capture" one - with no luck at all. I have been toying with the idea of going to the local cemetery at night to try to "capture" some....
From this article you have to ask!??? Now I know what I'm doing wrong! :-\
The only way ive ever captured orbs on my digital camera, with flash was when i sprayed air freshner in my room and took a picture of it
That worked a treat! Wonderful shots of orbs of all different shapes and sizes LOL
Ive been to quite a few "haunted" locations and taken some lovely snaps. Not one of my photos came out with orb phenomina on them, bugger
One place I did visit however the Golden Fleese in York, one of the girls had a spectacular orb right next to her. Apparantly she is sensitive to these orbs and in any photograph of her you can see evidence of it!!!
Shame on this occasion though someone next to her had sneezed just as the photo was being taken so she couldnt actually claim it was infact and orb![]()
Yeah its a lovely building, full of little quirks and the floors are amazing!!
Its a shame really but it seems the whole of York is awash with ghost tours and plaques in windows stating that they are infact the most haunted place to be in York LOL.
When we went into the Fleece i was quite disappointed to see sooooo many posters, leaflets and adverts depicting all manor of ghostly activities which you could partake in on any given night of the week.
One wall was full of Most Haunted posters. "as seen on Most Haunted, Britains most haunted pub etc etc etc. It just made it look so tacky and that they were just after publicity.
They advertised on a huge poster that if anyone could stay in there MH room a whole night they would get there stay paid for.
I stayed in one of those rooms a hole night and ummmm guess what nothing happened at all, LOL
I must admit the bar area did have a certain "feeling" to it, but that was probably due to the fact that there was next to no lighting (for effect I think) and the locals werent very friendly looking :-\
Most haunted is an absolute travesty of entertainment - idiotic is all i can say....best ignored if you are serious about science.
