The forum has been googled today. :D
The Google spiders have given the forum a thorough going over so hopefully some of the threads will pop up in people's search results.
It will be good to get indexed in Google at this early stage when we need more members. O0

Yes, probably. It may have made the forum look busier than it really was, but in the long run, being Googled will be beneficial. That's crucial from a UK perspective (if we're going to work).

Excellent! :D
I'm sure there are plenty of potential members in the UK out there - the easier it is for them to find us the better.

Quick question: can non-UK people join?
I'm just checking because I'm happy to promote this forum everywhichwhere I can, but it would help to know in case I get asked.
And: have you got any custom branded buttons I can bung on some of my sites?

Yes anyone can join - I don't see why not. Obviously the idea is to have a UK focus, but similar issues affect people from everywhere.
As for buttons... :ponder:
I must admit, I never thought of that but I'll get some made. O0
