I live along the Gulf Coast in Corpus Christi, TX. If you look at the Oil Spill region from Google Maps, and scroll directly westward you'll see my distance from the spill, which is quite comfortable compared to that of others.

As someone who takes a solid interest in studying both systemic and event conspiracy theories, I find myself letting out both a sigh of joy and a sigh of annoyance at the discovery of a new event conspiracy (which happens invariably after every natural disaster).

According to this AntimatterRadio "reporter" (who will allude to none other than Alex Jones, without saying his name during the video), there was no oil spill - rather, there was a volcanic eruption at great depths that has ejected mud from the sea floor into the upper layers of the seawater. They substitute the NWO as having been spraying chemicals & so forth to provide the appearance of oil, and claim that military personnel won't let people access beaches and so forth.

Try not to laugh too hard when you watch the video. It is indeed full of anecdotal pseudoscience.

This particular conspiracy theory is almost offensive, albeit not quite as much as the 9/11 conspiracy theory. It makes a mockery of the situation that many coastal families are in who rely on the Gulf of Mexico.

If every natural disaster or accident is really a conspiracy, does that mean the world is actually perfect?

Having not watched the youtube clip does it state why the NWO would do this? What could they possibly get out it?

I don't recall. There is a Part 2 video I believe, but I've not watched it.
