Chocolate-covered coffee beans

I bought some very pricey ones today and ate too many, and I feel really weird now. Kind of high and low at the same time.

That might be something to do with the fact that I never usually imbibe caffeine.

They're delicious though.

£4.00 for 100g, which is quite pricey but I've discovered you only need to eat three or four at a time so maybe it's not such bad value after all!

I got them in House of Fraser in Birmingham, they're called Chocca Mocca.

I'm attempting to imagine what it would be like to be talked at by a tkingdoll on a caffeine high. Eek! Think I'll go and hide in the wardrobe until she stops taking drugs. :D

Trouble is, I can't stop eating them until it's too late :( So I've sworn off buying them.

Coffee is the gateway drug which leads to popping beans - but it seems teek skipped the preliminaries, and went straight for the hard stuff :-\ Hope you rehabilitate soon!

I love those things. I tend to go for a whole packet in one go, but then my body is strangely tolerant of stimulants. Good coffee is therefore wasted on me so my wife only gives me the crap stuff and saves the best for herself.

I suppose the next step is to try snorting entire beans.... :D

We just bought some in Nice from a fancy shop but the chocolate was rubbish. By far the best ones have been the chocca moccas.
