Anyone going to the Cafe Scientifique in Manchester (http://www.cafescientifique.manchester.ac.uk/calendar//url) on Monday 4 September? It's at 6.30, Cafe Muse by the Manchester Museum on Oxford Road if anyone is unfamilar with it. The title of the talk is "Parapsychology?! What's that?" and I just wondered if anyone was planning on being there (not that I know any of your geographical locations).

I copy and paste from his website:
"Ciarán can be seen appearing on paranormal TV shows such as Living TV’s Most Haunted and Jane Goldman Investigates where he regularly battles with all manner of mediumistic communication."

"In the past few years Ciarán has been researching a Doctorate entitled ‘Assessing the content of advice given by practitioners claiming paranormal ability,’ (focusing on psychics and mediums) at the University of Hertfordshire."

(If the link doesn't work, I apologise, but the website is http://www.cafescientifique.manchester.ac.uk/calendar/)

I won't make this one Cat, but if you're going, any chance of a quick review of the evening?

Welcome to the forum by the way. O0

Any news Cat?

Ciaran's in Glasgow on Thursday: http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/hi/news/5056740.html

Psychic detectives. That's more up my street - I'm doing an article now on the subject.

I can't make Glasgow either though. :(
