Natalie - have you ever tested Adrian's claims with regard to hauntings? If he gives you info, how do you know it is accurate and how do you know where he got it from?

I always tell the mediums where we are going to investigate beforehand because the team isn't there to prove if the mediums are genuine or not,we are there in hope to capture paranormal activity, we sometimes do investigations withought mediums too,that is just how the group works,all group are different.As for testing Adrian, we have personally never tested him because we try to keep the investigation focus away from the medium as much as possible, however there has been a couple of other mediums in the past that have picked up on the same stuff Adrian has on the night.I don't know where Adrian has got it from but owners of locations have also agreed with him in the past.I sit on the fence with all of it because I just don't know, no matter what medium we have- I just don't know.

Ditto for the support they give for his 'successful cancer treatments'.

When they say "The vast majority have been successfully healed often beyond all medical expectation.", are they basing that on actual knowledge of the vast majority of his patients, on knowledge of a few satisfied customers, or essentially on what Adrian told them?

The info on Adrian's Haunted Hereford page I myself took from his website as he was too lazy to write abit about himself!I don't take sides, like I have said none of this is to do with any of us or Haunted Hereford and we were only brought into all of this because of Watcher.

To a casual visitor, it might rather look like HH is giving an endorsement of his abilities on the page that talks about him.
It might be better to have a page just saying what he does with you, and then let his own site speak about his claims of his abilities.

I realise it isn't a test but, with the greatest respect, we do not know where mediums get their information from. Even if he does get stuff correct, there is no guarantee that it came from ghosts, spirits or in any paranormal way. I can't see how this would help to 'capture paranormal activity'.

Although a regular member of UKS, I am no more than a casual visitor in terms of the paranormal, or paranormal sites, and this is certainly how it looks to me.

That's a dangerous attitude to take, especially with people who make claims such as Pengelly does.

It's your perogative at the end of the day, however as skeptics we could argue against that position til the cows come home.

I'm afraid I also found your initial support of Pengelly quite disagreeable, it did imply that you were giving some sort of credence to the man.
