I feel truly sorry for anyone taking exams soon! I was always been useless at them. They blighted the early part of my life.

Having a useless memory was the biggest problem. I have a neural random access memory. Some useless fact will often pop into my head completely unbidden bearing no relation to my situation (when out shopping today I suddenly thought of the words of an old Jam song for no obvious reason). That's a lot of use when you have to write an essay on the origins of the First World War! If there was ever an exam for listing as many pointless, unrelated facts as possible in an hour, I could get an A*!

Good luck to all of you taking exams - glad I'm not you!

a neural random access memory.

lolol. better than no access at all.
For instance, I could not even mention one point regarding the origins of the First World War. Maybe that's coz I'm absolutely not interested in wars. (wasn't that anything with this Franz Ferdinand?) It's something men are doing. And history is anyway a very subjective thing. It's always written by the winners. Even if, say, yesterday were fighting 2 men in front of any bar. Who can say today, what really happened?

However, I also don't like exams. It's so stupid to tell something, the people in front of you know much better than you.

Not to 'toot my own trumpet' here but I think I have pretty good memory, I have rarely failed an exam even when I didn't bother to study much. But in the end I'm destined to fail because of an incredibly boring requirement, typically know as COURSEWORK

Its a sad time when you get over 90% in the exam and still almost fail the subject.:'(

Oh and I am sitting a few exams next week, but unsurprisingly I have failed to revise even a little. *anxiety building up*

I was lucky enough to just catch the old 'O' Levels, so no coursework (or revision, for that matter). Happy days. O0
