I notice that most of the pro UFO comments come from the USA...

Classic - I think I've found the first entry for the July commentary.
I like this comment:
Are some of the earlier posters really suggesting that aliens have travelled across the vast distances of space to come to our planet and do nothing more than make shapes in farmers’ fields.
Erm... sadly... yes.
I often think of the aliens' government and their equivalent of NASA discussing the funding for these incredible journeys.
"So, NASA, you want £850 Trillion to fund this mission?"
"Yes, that's what we estimate the cost to be."
"What is the purpose of this mission?"
"We're going to make some patterns in their crops."
"OK. Very worthwhile. Funding granted"
;D ;D ;D ;D

Although I loved this cynical post :)
Yeah. We can split atoms, but stomping down some wheat to create some cool pictures? We're too stupid for that. Aliens must have done it.

Oh and this site (http://www.circlemakers.org/new_documents.html) is generally worth a visit during circle season, some very nice stuff there

I added a comment that used that exact same link - we must be psychic! ;D
It's not been published, so I might have been too realistic.

The move from a two-dimensional square into a three-dimensional cube might indicate that these patterns emanate from a dimension of reality we cannot access.
riiiight...but they can access our dimension...

Heh - I've been using that site as an easy debunk tool since I found this one (http://www.circlemakers.org/hellokitty.html).
"So the aliens visited us to say they're 'Hello Kitty' fans?"

So actually what is the general consensus on who/what has created crop circles?

Tony Hart's been doing this stuff for years. ;)
Who remembers Vision On, here?
Or am I showing my age :-[

I did some years ago...have pictures and everything.....then we dressed up as new age people the next day and went back to see our handywork.....
Have you noticed the phenomena of 'grass circles' though - mysteriously planted in the middle of round-a-bouts on the roads.....hhhmmmm
who put them there (I have never seen anyone plant them)? who keeps them so well maintained...(I have never seen anyone)? - yet they look perfect :D
also you have to slow down when approaching them and accelerate to get away - clearly this is evidence for an electromagnetic nano-quantum vortex of energy used by ancient people.... :D
(been in sun too long....)

maybe we should go out one night and make a crop square to really confuse the new agers

We should find out where they're making them and stand the crops back up. ;D

Artistically speaking, corn, wheat etc is soooo pre-universal.
Aliens now tend to favour pure sewage as a medium
I believe we're talking crap circles

I hear that at our local arts and crafts society that they've been finding some unusual crepe circles. ;D

Sorry Ginger, there's already a couple of links to that site in previous posts but that damnable dark blue on slightly darker blue can make them hard to see :-[
Yeah that site is awesome and contains a lot of essays, book reccomendations, pictures and techniques to realistically put aside any doubt that circles are only ever made by highly artistic artists.

These humans claiming to be creating these crop circles are frauds!
As a being from a parallel Universe (well not really parallel more Perpendicular), I have been using an advanced machine made from old egg cartons and double sided sticky tape to move to your version of earth (although in my dimension it is called wind and in another fire).
I move between realities using a fuel known as White Lightning, it makes me feel :cheesy:.
