With halloween just around the corner the most haunted cash registers will be going into overdrive....Kerching.Is the tv show just a multi-million pound money making machine?I found this on youtube, some guy just messing around with a camera and a bit of string etc.I think its hilarious, especially part 2 and he clearly shows how easy it is to fake this sort of nonsense.Just imagine if he spent more time on it and filmed it in some big old drafty haunted mansion, not hard to imagine how convincing it would look?Scroll down to his favourites and you will see the clips-A Haunting part 1,2 and 3....hilarious......brilliant..."is that you elizabeth?..."Some of his billy meier replicas are pretty cool too, especially replica 4,6 and 26 and again he proves how meier could have easily have faked it.Goto this website youtube.com/user/billymeierhoax ;D;D;DEnjoy, sorry i couldent post a link to it,but im a new member and for some reason you have to post 15 posts before you can give links!!!

It seems to be a badge of honour among 'serious' paranormal researchers to despise the show.

I know quoting oneself is beyond pathetic but I wanted to add something:
It seems to be a badge of honour among 'serious' paranormal researchers to despise the show. However, that doesn't stop them going on it ...

its worse than that. Certain self-claimed experts have written in print about how we should refuse to go on these shows....then the phone rings and they are there like a shot....then afterwards they tell us why we should refuse to go on these shows.......
Seems schizophrenic to me......

The truth is that I'm jealous because they've never asked me ...

If you can't post a link, try either posting a Google search string that brings it up, or spell it out, e.g. www dot bbc dot co dot uk etc.

Mulder you're psychic. I was just going to add that caveat myself....>:D>:D
And then they wonder why parapsychologists don't get taken seriously as academics ...
Mind you it is rather flattering to see how certain (ahem) serious (Snicker) ghosthunters do seem to seem to be picking things up from the posts on this website and amending their wackier views and websites accordingly...
Oh and just by the way, there's a Spooky convention in Dublin next week- more details on the delightfully named www.dublinPARACON.com website. Yes that really is its real name. ParaCon...
Apparently Steve Parsons will be there...
