it's 6/6/6!

Anything vaguely demonic happen yet?

(or if you want to be pedantic, it's 06/06/2006, but where's the fun in that? Bloody skeptics)

:scared:

Actually, I feel quite good today, the sun is shining and all is fine with the world.

Hang on, what's that fire-breathing horned beast in the garden? ???

I'll just go and check. I may be some time...

It's alright, I have the situation is under control O0

The Anti Christ lives with me and has been masquerading as my daughter for the last 15 years.

Purgatory, profanity and green vomit; we've had it all.

Now where's my sacrificial knife?.......
:o

Folks, I'm sorry to break this to you.

I know you all had the impression that I'm pretty smart...

Well I have proof that I'm actually really stupid :'(

Yesterday I was out walking with my hubby, my sis and her chap, and we were discussing how silly all the panic about 06/06/06 is. We were laughing at the doom-mongers and superstitious people, and I said

"Hah, it would really get them going if tomorrow happened to be a Friday 13th as well!"

:-[

I'm writing out my UKS notice now, I'll hand my badge in at the door on my way out.

The worst thing was, it took me a few minutes to work out why they were all laughing at me like I'm stoopid or something :-[

Gah. From the article "Mrs Dumas, born at Brighton General Hospital in 1940, said her late mother, a psychic, had always warned her to "watch herself" when she turned 66. "

I hate the way the media present her being a psychic as a matter of fact. One email coming right up.

ETA: I just emailed the beeb pointing out the factual inaccuracy. We'll see what happens.

Teek - regards your 'stupid' moment...

I hear PA are looking for new members - though their recruitment measures may require you knowing what day of the week it is... ;D ;D :D However, I dont think it does...... ;D

Not only did I not know what day of the week it was, it didn't even occur to me that I was trying to suggest that the 6th day of the month could somehow also be the 13th :(

That's not the only stupid thing I've ever said though. I once proclaimed that I wanted to get a nose job because I didn't want my future children to inherit my big nose :-[

Sure thing, i was also hinting kindly at the 6th versus 13th thing........ :D

Anyway, if its confessions you want well, I did once put shaving foam on my toothbrush......it was very early in the morning and i had a hang-over.....

Psychologists call these things - slips of action....

fstdt have spiced up their site especially for today:

06/06/06! HAIL SATAN!

Todays favourite:
"Female circumcision is not barbaric. It is done for a reason, to keep the female pure. If only we adopted such practices here in the UK, then maybe women would be less inclined toward infidelity and therefore family values would still be an integral part of society. Family values instil a sense of discipline and respect, which we need as a counteraction against the modern trend of zero respect and zero discipline that is undermining the very fabric of our decaying society"

Whoa!

...... I skipped lunch today because I was so busy. At first I made no connection between my workload and the date, however now I think about it, it could have been the devils doing.

Amazing paranormal fact: every month that starts on a Sunday has a Friday 13th in it. :ghost:

You're a believer in Lamarkism then? ??? ;D
