Couldn't you achieve the same effect by just sitting out in the sunshine? Plenty of infra-red there!

I suppose this means that there are few instances of alzheimer's where you live? Oh...you don't live long enough cos of the skin cancer? Controlled comparison is hard isnt' it ?:P

Controlled comparison is hard isnt' it ?:PI can't help feeling a sense of sour grapes here.::) Everybody here (except me ;D)is a moron, or drunk, or both, so identifying alzheimers is tricky. I'm not aware the skin cancer rates are higher here than elsewhere - as you say, a controlled experiment would be very difficult.

We don't even get enough sun in Scotland in winter to get the required vitamin D dosage apparantly.

Want to meet for a beer next month Janot - I'm coming to Lanzarote. It's just down the road isn't it?O0

Sorry Janot. It was meant to be a joke. Clearly not funny, however :-[Oh dear - I'm usually the first to spot irony or sarcasm, but it missed me entirely. I must have been out in the sun too long - it dulls the mind.::)
