We're all doomed (or at least those of us near the coast)!

See, you folks all mock my land-locked city, but I shall be laughing hardest when the giant waves sweep you all away, leaving us Brummies to rule the earth.

Goodbye, fair coast people.

Well, it's not quite the inundation I'd been banking on. Never mind, lads, same time tomorrow... we must get a winner one day.

it's not over yet - we now have a 48 hour time window apparently...

According to his website the 48 hour window was centered around midnight of 24/25th May, so will have finished at the end of the 25th.

A geordie's poem.

We were talking about this in the pub last night. We were wondering if he might be able to stretch his prediction to include a punch-up in Bigg Market at the weekend.

Newcastle shrugged that reputation off a long time ago.

These days we stab each other for fun. ???

Yes John, 28 years ago I was a student in NC and often frequented the Big Market on account of excellent draft beers.

The best way of knowing when it was time to leave a pub and move on or make your way home was when one of the following was heard amongst the drinkers.

' How man, yer a puff ye like'

or

' Are ye lookin at my pint'

or

' Are ye lookin at wor lass'

or even

' Whit are ye lookin at like'

An Irish poem...

No tsunami, no comet come
No diasasterous mess
So lets all f*** off down the pub
and drink it dry of Guiness O0

Idiots. Still, they couldn't say nothing and keep credibility.

This way, they still have no credibility, but one guy in Texas might still believe them.

You'd have thought that a comet fragment hitting the Atlantic would be, erm, NEWSWORTHY SOMEWHERE.

There are literally thousands of amateur and professional astronomers watching the thing every night and not one person saw it, reported it or made any kind of noise about it.

Hmmmmm.

There could be another conspiracy... ;) ;D

Do you know that some people are daft enough to believe that we landed men on the Moon. :o
