General interest;

Maurice Grosse, along with Guy Lyon Playfair, was responsible for the hype surrounding the Enfield Poltergeist case - one of the most interesting cases ever studied by the SPR. It also formed much of the basis for the BBC's much-criticised Ghostwatch, broadcast some years ago, and which frightened a sizeable proportion of the UK witless. (Shame they missed the small leader which did actually say it was a drama... and thus Not Real...)

Belief systems aside, Maurice was actually a charming man.

Sad news indeed :'(

I met maurice for the TV programme "Video Diaries". when we filmed at Chingle. I disagreed totally with his research and conclusions - but a nice man.

Despite his odd views, I think he was a well read man who could put together an argument from time to time (I should know - I deconstucted a few of his in my time). Point is - he tried.

A sadly missed and colourful character :ghost:

Ah the 'and that was the voice of a 9 year old child' man.

You cannot deny he was amusing (!) and he had a sweet seeming face when I saw him on telly. He will be missed.

Love
