This was an article that was printed in The Skeptic magazine.

This could be the explanation for how descriptions of aliens from claimed abductees tend to be similar as they're based on the same template.

There was a paper given at a CSICOP conference about a million years ago in which it was pointed out that aliens as described by French "abductees" are nothing like aliens described by Anglo-Saxon "abductees". As I recall, French aliens were big and hairy and resembled the "greys" of English-speaking UFO mythology not at all.

It is possible that the American aliens are grey because at the time they started showing up, most science fiction films were in black and white.

What date did the French aliens start tuning up?

I don't know the Mojo in-joke, (please share) but if small and hairy, he would also be an Ewok ;D

Mojo is a gentleman; kind, clever and friendly. He sports a delightfully curly beard but couldn't exactly be described as a giant amongst men, unless one takes into account his intellect, which is formidable.

Mojo is a gentleman; kind, clever and friendly. The Camel has only met me when I've been on my best behaviour. He sports a delightfully curly beard but couldn't exactly be described as a giant amongst men, I have a beard, and I'm shorter than the Camel... unless one takes into account his intellect, which is formidable. ...and he's mostly seen me arguing with homoeopaths. ;)

oh that's easy... because only one race of aliens are evil and they do the kidnapping/abducting of humans! :D
