Rather worryingly, the NHS is branching out from irrational therapies into new areas according to the Sun. (I wouldn't want anyone to think I read this under normal circumstances).

HOSPITAL managers have called in an exorcist after shaken workers complained they are being terrified by a GHOST.

Doesn't the "spook" in the picture look a bit like the shade-of-superman? I wonder how long it will be before Richard ***** gets on the case? (All ghosts in Derby work for him of course).
I heard of a similar case in a hospital about 12-15 years ago from a friend who was a senior houseman there at the time. It was rather more spectacular in detail but in that case they (hospital workers) decided the phantom was none other than the Angel of Death. A local priest was called in for a blessing but claimed no authority over the Angel of Death, so no exorcism apparently.

This was on Radio 4 this morning at about a quarter to 8. They had an interview with someone, not sure if he was an exorcist, but he was going on about demons and ghosts being separate. And the fact this 'ghost' was most likely a spirit trying to get back to the spirit world.
It was just before Thought For The Day

Derby was recently named the most haunted place in BritainHow often do you hear "such and such is the most haunted place?"
It's like every psychic is No.1.
I notice the ghost is another photo shop picture like the jet attacking the UFO posted elsewhere. A pattern?

How about we all contact the sun to say we've seen a ghost? The invitation is at the bottom of the piece.
Perhaps the ghost of a dead journalist of note wailing at the thought of the sun calling itself a newspaper?

Ooooh I think we should do this... I've been in complete awe of the BMJ "cello-scrotum" hoax all week, getting nonsense printed in The Sun ought to be a doddle in comparison, particularly as nonsense is what they expect.
Perhaps Charles Darwin ought to be seen popping up in libraries, labs and old stomping grounds? Or would the Angel of Death have a suitably End-of-Days feel in these troubled times?
Actually, now that I think of it my vote goes for The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Horsemen_of_the_Apocalypse)
Evidence of them is everywhere...

Got at least one ghostly horseman (if you ignore the striking similarity in shape to the guy standing below), and lots of other standard ghostly camera artefacts as well.
Actually, I think it looks more like a camel ...

Wow, you've a better imagination than me. Is...is the horseman standing on the horse? In a long cape?
No, it's no good, I'm too distracted by the alien from the old ads for "Smash" on the right hand side there.

So true. There is a pub in Edinburgh (Where we're going to hold the Skeptics in the Pub- Edinburgh meetings) called Nicol Edwards, which is claimed to be "Scotlands Most Haunted Pub". Its absolute nonesense.
What worries me about the hospital scenario is that these people are paid to save our lives and they're claiming to see ghosts and figures in black to the extent where an official email is sent out!
Now that's truely scary.

I am so heartilly sick of assassinating sun articles. I mean there is literally no effort involved, the sun do the legwork for you. I was asked to do a write up of this for BadGhosts but to be honest there is no point. Its just utterly ridiculous. Every hackneyed reason is dredged up for the reason this "ghost" is there.
