I've found a website for them, ends in .la whihc is technically Laos but I understand it's being informally sued as Los Angeles.
It's a teleshopping channel available through Sky, on channel 654.
The Artificial Intelligence responsible for the nuclear appocolypse in the terminator franchise is apparently not implicated.
Lots of complaints about the US companies mentioned from the requested google. I haven't verfied the corportate links between BHTV and those US companies mentioned.

At last...I'm so pleased to find this forum and finally vent my spleen. BHTV is indeed a rip off and i am still after 3 months waiting for a refund on items that i returned to them 1 week after purchase. My experience has been so frustrating that in my last communication to them i threatened to involve trading standards or at least expose their bad practice on-line. My issue is the fact that after receiving my goods; 2 diamond pendants and earring sets, i just didn't feel that they looked right and wondered why the jewels were so dull, needless to say i wasn't that shocked when a local jeweller advised me that the diamond was in fact a manmade substance that is apparently quite popular in the US called moissamite...On contacting BHTV however they claimed that they would need to confirm that they are indeed fakes before they would agree to refund my postage, this was in september ... In my frustration i then agreed to accept a refund minus the postage just to expediate the matter.Guess what i'm still waiting...My reasoning is i can't be alone here, its a total scam i can't believe that after ripping of US customers they have been allowed to trade over here, I need to get my money back, any ideas? Who regulates these shopping channels?

I assume this is a typo - but just love the concept it implies!

Not true. You can't dismiss all tv programmes as drivel. There are many excellent documentary programmes on the main UK tv channels, as well as some I can no longer receive, like Discovery and National Geographic.
