It seems there is some concern over the CERN Large Hadron Collider.

Very small Black Holes may be created. According to CERN they will evaporate due to Hawking Radiation in a split second.

I'm just wondering, they will have such small mass that even if they didn't decay, they would not have the gravitational pull to attract anything?

The doomsday scenario to worry about is if a mini black hole fell into the earth. Its not that the balck hole has insufficient mass to attract anything, it's that the earth has sufficent mass to attract it. The balck hole might then absorb mass quicker than it would lose it via hawking radiation. Approximately twenty minutes later the earth is the size of a golfball. At least it'll be quick >:D

There isn't any concern.

What mass would one of these Black Holes have?

If it is less than the mass of an atom it would not be able to attract one.(I'm guessing)

What electric charge would it have also? This may repel particles because the charge would be more powerful than its weak gravity.

I have a feeling it would have no charge though.

Interesting isn't it.

I can't wait till LHC is up and running. Pity I won't understand any of it.:'(

I missed your post until now. We must have cross posted.

I know the people who know what they are doing are not worried. It's the doom element I linked to that are concerned.

Remember the same types saying the Schmacher/Levy 9 impact would destroy Earth? ::)
