Today I am catching up with some work, tomorrow we are going to the Gay Pride parade in Bham City Centre (I took my hubby there on our first date, I was dressed as Malibu Barbie in an aquamarine bikini and heels), then on Monday we are finally going to finish prepping our hall so we can paint it. It's only been waiting for an entire year!

What plans have thee all?

I read that as peppering your hall and I had visions of Malibu Barbie in a bikini shaking a pepper grinder over a hallway. :D

I will be constructing the most fiendish device known to mankind (an Ikea shelving unit called plimpl or something) and then maybe going down the Royal Observatory to help out on the solar observing session (if it's still not pissing down).

Either that, or I will terrorising the neighbourhood cats with a remote controlled dalek.

I will be teaching my 5 year old daughter to ride her bike and how to spot cold reading techniques.

( the "cold reading" bit was a lie)

Actually, it looks as if we'll be decorating the hall too. ???

We just need to paper the bottom half of the walls so it shouldn't be too much effort. I hate decorating. >:(

Is that in case someone tries to give her a reading whilst she's riding her bike? ;D

Drinking alcohol and arguing with my 15 yr old daughter (of course these activities are not mutually exclusive) In fact, I would say the interactional dynamics are quite interesting. :ponder:

I'm thinking of creating a rating system ranging from minor wobble (huffing and pouted lips) to full blown giga-strop complete with slamming doors and propelled items 8)
Be-jayzuz, you would think we've got a poltergeist ;D

Oh I will also be going walking with my 4 yr old son..in the rain, most probably because it invariably chucks it down on a bank holiday (sorry, no stats to back that one up) :-\

Building a 12 foot TP Emperor trampoline on Sunday and then watching it sink bounce by bounce into my sodden turf

Taking my lads to see Ocean Colour Scene in York on Tuesday.

Listening to plenty of music

Pavement. Two Gallants, Neutral Milk Hotel, Dirty Pretty Things and always some Led and some Floyd

Talking of music, we have spent much of this weekend so far in the company of The Raconteurs album, which I heartily recommend.

Although I still maintain that Jack White sounds like the guy who sings the theme tune to Rentaghost.

I agree, Da Vinci Code is crap.

X-Men III totally rocks though. Make sure you stay til after the credits cause there's an extra scene (which I missed but now know about).

Sampling many fine English ales and playing a new MMO game that I managed to get second wave Beta in (Geek thing that I'm really chuffed about).

If the weather's good I've got some root bundle type things to dig out of the front garden :p
