I'm teetotal
But I could do a lot of damage to their speciality cheese section. And those marinated artichoke hearts from the deli counter run to a fiver a tub, too.
Mmmmmmm tasty.

TKD,
Never tried the artichoke hearts - are they the ones that make you fart horrendously, or is that the jerusalem ones? But the Colston Bassett Stilton............ well it is so totally supreme, I even emailed them and told them.???
But then, I do need to get out more..............

Sorry to break the bad news folks, but this thread is academic because Santa committed suicide in Gateshead today by throwing himself off the roof of Gateshead's Swallow Hotel:

A Lapland spokesman said that Santa had been increasingly depressed by developments in recent months. First came minimum wage demands by his elves; then the animal-welfare department said he had to give his reindeer a 10 minute break every hour; then the FAA said he couldn't fly below 500 feet over built-up areas - and the last straw, a ban on saying "Ho, Ho, Ho" by the PC nuts. He just couldn't take any more.

My son told me that he thinks Father Christmas is really Doctor Who in disguise ´cos as he can go back in time in his Tardis, he can visit all the children in the world on the same night.
Not a bad theory. For a seven year old.

And I don't want a 2008 "Beetroot World" calendar either, as seen in a GC today, with the Ma.

Tell him Santa's dead - and have a cheap Christmas.
