This is an update. My name is John Merrell and I recently won a Washington federal lawsuit against the only psychic to have lectured at the FBI and been sanctioned by a former FBI official. 22 years ago I lost a libel case against the same psychic before a six-member jury in a small county courthouse and have waged both a legal and investigative battle since that time. In 2005 the psychic --- Noreen Renier often seen internationally on many 'police psychic' TV shows including Psychic Detectives and Psychic Investigators --- wrote a book titled A Mind for Murder. In publishing that book in 2005 a U.S. District judge concluded in December 2006 that Noreen Renier broke an earlier Florida state settlement agreement, and her publisher banished the book. Additionally in April 2007 the court awarded me approximately $40,000. More important however is that the release of the agreement allowed me to re-investigate many of the psychic claims made by Renier --- one of the top 3 police psychics in the U.S. --- and I located witnesses which concluded many of her remarks before the original jury and also before millions of TV viewers were untrue regarding her claim of locating a crashed aircraft with survivors. For those who may wish to explore this 2-year investigation please see my website at www.amindformurder.com (http://www.amindformurder.com) Two weeks ago Renier petitioned a U.S. bankruptcy court for a Chapter 7 personal bankruptcy to avoid paying the debt she owes to me. The court has yet to make a decision, but one option would be for the court to transfer all of her assets surrounding her book and movie rights to me. That might also allow me to republish the book with extensive corrections. I can be contacted at amindformurder@gmail.com Thank you. I hope you enjoy the website, particularly those segments about her claims in finding the aircraft. I understand she has many clients in Europe and I doubt many know of this news.

I am actually familiar with this case, and the subsequent court shennanigans, I applaud your stance on this, even though it has cost you dearly over the years. To answer your point about her european clients, I honestly doubt this is so. She may be famous in psychic circles in the states but here, she is an unknown element. I think you will find that psychics always like to add "the number one psychic in country of your choice" and also "world reknowned psychic choose a name" and "large international clientele" or the dreaded "celebrity psychic" tags.

The only reason she is known here is for your legal actions against her. I could be wrong, but I guess well wait and see if anyone else here has heard about her business in europe. I cannot believe the FBI thinks this person has a psychic ability, and if they truely do I despair for the future of your countries security and defence. Lets hope no psychic terrorists are interviewed by the FBI, I would hate to think that instead of incarceration they would be given a lecture circuit.

You are certainly correct that Renier is not well recognized in Europe, but she has stated she has clients in Europe and she has been seen on some broadcasts. And you note the one thing that does bring about an awareness --- her real link to the FBI and being sanctioned by FBI Special Agent Robert Ressler for almost 30 years, both before and after his retirement. Ressler has stated that he recommended her to dozens of law enforcement personnel over many years, and did in fact (according to Renier) also sanction her work in locating the lost aircraft that my website covers. Thanks for the comments. -John Merrell
