Has anyone figured out what kind of scam this is?? ???
Dream:
I remember this dream, and it's a set of instructions I'm suppose to follow to allow you to grow a very special plant that's suppose to change you life...for the good.
This DD tells me to get some special seeds, place them in the center of this paper, fold 4 times and sleep with the seeds under my pillow for 6 days. I'm then suppose to give a single seed to all those in need of miracles. Also says I will know what the seed is...I think I know, but I'm not sure if I can say...so it will remain a secret for now.
Anyway, I will comply with this dream starting today...
I will get the seeds and do what it says...after 6 nights of sleeping with the seeds, I will start giving them out...there are no instructions on how to grow the seed...just says "grow with love" and "keep inside". I think once you have the seed, you will know by instinct how to take care of it....also says to only send one...so if your's does not grow, I will send another.
TO GET YOUR FREE SEED
If you want one of these seeds please send a self address stamped envelope to me,
as soon as I get it, I will send you a single seed...and I have plenty of seeds left for right now.
If I have to get more, please understand it will take 6 days until they are ready to ship.
If you cannot afford postage, I will pay for it :)
Please send your SASE to:
Brian, Attn: DD 5516,
PO Box 1025
Berkeley Springs WV 25411 USA
I can ship to all countries in the free world.

There was I thinking it was going to be something completely different about sowing his seeds for artificial insemination purposes (wonder if he reads this, he'll dream about it and cash in on it lol), and it's about some seeds that look to me like runner beans (too much reading the kids Jack and the Beanstalk perhaps?)

Before you apply to have a seed posted to you in the UK, you should check with DEFRA as some plants and plant products are banned - see http://www.defra.gov.uk/planth/impexp.htm

He posted this the same time he said he had to go into hospital to have his brain tested for a tumor. He comes home with a $2121.20 medical bill and then says his miracle seeds do all sorts of miracles but doesn't know how he's going to pay this bill, but is offering to send out seeds for free.
Not only is he paying for envelopes and stamps but he's paying for the paper, the thing he's putting the seed behind. It just doesn't make sense. Then he says he's had hundreds and hundreds of people asking for the seeds. So he's obviously trawling for donations to pay his medical expenses.

You are making the assumption he even had medical bills to pay ;)
I'm not sure what he is up to with the seeds to be honest. I don't know if it's just another way to attract people to his site and get their email addresses, or whether he starts sending them a sob story afterwards, like how he can't afford to send the beans but he does it anyway because he is SUCH a nice man etc etc.

Well exactly, your right. He might not have had a medical bill to pay, i only said that because he posted a picture of his medical bill, but i guess he could have made that up?? He even posts his medical bracelet to prove his name is on it. But why would anyone do that? You would just tell people you were in the hospital, end of story. You don't go posting copies of your bills online with some sob story. Either way i'm sure it's another way to sucker people in >:-)

Have you got a link to the picture of the bracelet? See if any of the numbers match. I just distrust that there's no name on the receipt or that the name has purposely been left off.

Well the account number matches, 7107166. Bottom right of the receipt and underneath the bar code, left hand side on the bracelet. Barring photoshop I'd say it's legit

Just check the EXIF data if you really want to be sure, however EXIF data can also be faked if hes really careful.

These "miracle seeds" remind me of the giveaway tat beloved of American televangelists - prayer cloths, vials of holy oil etc.

the trouble people go to for publicity and money.....:cheesy:
I agree, if he didn't have ulterior motives he would have mentioned his hospital visit briefly...but to show the bill only convinces me what a con artist he is, and he is getting away with it!! Plays on peoples emotions...
that seed is stupid.. Maybe its a Venus fly (money) trap??? ;D
